HIVers launch social organization
in Los Angeles
A group of HIV-positive Los Angeles residents has launched a new social club
for HIVers that aims to provide a safe and drug-free
environment for HIV-positive people to meet, socialize,
and make new friends. Called Poz4Poz LA, the group already
has more than 250 members from Los Angeles and Orange
counties and aims to host at least two social events
each month. Organizers stress that the group is not about
sexual connections but is instead focused on friendship
and camaraderie. Typical gatherings include movie nights,
board game parties, and pool parties, the organizers
